2016 Pinot Noir ~ SOLD OUT

Vineyard and Winemaking
Our 2016 Pinot Noir hails from the biodynamic Filligreen Farm located in Anderson Valley, Mendocino, one of California’s premier Pinot Noir regions. After being carefully hand harvested into small bins the grapes were destemmed directly to open top bins where the fermentation ensued. The wine was pressed to 30% new French oak and was racked just once over the course of its life. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Bottled a limited 117 cases.
Tasting Notes
Opens with enticing aromas of grilled plums, strawberry and rhubarb pie, apple pie spices, with touches of vanilla, maple candy, and dried berries. Fruit forward palate of juicy plum, boysenberry, grilled strawberry, leading to complex hints of vanilla cream, fall pie spices, and black pepper. Approachable now, with soft tannins throughout and a long finish, our 2016 Pinot will age gracefully over the next 5 to 10 years.
