The Hans Fahden Winery in Calistoga is a licensed indoor-outdoor facility that specializes in private weddings and other special events. The facility can accommodate up to 120 guests.

The winery is conveniently located 5 minutes from downtown Calistoga. This charming main street offers overnight accommodations, five star restaurants, spas, and the wine country's famous mud baths.

Hans Fahden's indoor facilities boast a stunning grand room with a baby grand piano and panoramic views of the surrounding ponds and gardens. From the grand room, guests enter the one-of-a-kind volcanic ash cave for an unforgettable dining experience or an intimate wedding ceremony. Brides and their attendants will also enjoy the luxury of our secluded bridal changing suite. The indoor facility also has a separate food preparation room for caterers.

The Hans Fahden site is available for 7 hours per event; however an on-site wedding coordinator who provides 12 hours of service is also included. The site fee includes outdoor ceremony chairs and shade umbrellas, round tables and chairs for the reception, and candelabras. Hans Fahden staff assists with guest arrivals and parking. There is a minimum wine purchase requirement, but additional wine and champagne may be brought to the property with no corkage fee. For a truly unique wedding gift, enjoy a complimentary double magnum bottle of our award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon signed by all of your guests.

Event prices for Fridays and Sundays are reduced.

Special Winter Wedding Package
Substantial discounts are available for events held between December 1 and March 31. Many of the service providers offer substantial discounts during this period as well. For your added convenience, Hans Fahden offers a Boutique Winter Wedding package which includes the site for 6 hours, wedding minister, photographer, DJ and on-site wedding coordinator. However if you would like to create your own full service wedding package, we can recommend trusted service providers.

Elopements
We have designed elegant and distinctive elopement packages for those interested in exchanging their vows in the splendor of the Napa Valley. Our special Elopement packages cover all the details for the wedding ceremony so that the Bride and Groom can focus on their special day.
